Description
An airlock is a chamber that can evacuate, modify or fill its internal volume with differing atmospheres and has two or more airtight portals which all do not open simultaneously. Thus, an airlock allows passage between two or more environments without the exchange of gases, pressures, or temperature between the connected atmospheres.
A Kit (Airlock) is used to build a portal that is suitable for use in constructing an airlock. The portal must be airtight and able to withstand the possibility of large differentials in pressure and temperature between to environments it separate.
