Description
Adhesive Insulation is a consumable material used to upgrade uninsulated pipe structures to their insulated equivalents in place, preserving all existing connections. It is applied using a wrench as a secondary tool.
Usage
Hold Adhesive Insulation in the active hand and a Wrench in the off-hand, then use on a compatible pipe or vent structure. The action takes 0.5 seconds and consumes one unit of Adhesive Insulation. The structure is replaced in-place with its insulated variant.
Compatible structures include:
- Gas pipes
- Liquid pipes
- Passive Vent
- In-Line Gas Tanks (1×1, 1×2, 1×3)
- In-Line Liquid Tanks (1×1, 1×2, 1×3)
Notes
Adhesive insulation can be applied to the Passive Vent Valve, but because there is no insulated variant it instead incorrectly upgrades to an Insulated Passive Vent
The new insulated structure inherits the color of the structure it replaces. For example, a default gas pipe is yellow, and the resulting insulated gas pipe will also be yellow.
