Obtaining
Ice (Oxite) is mined throughout the surface and underground of a planet or an asteroid using a Mining Drill or Pickaxe. It is recommended to equip the Mining Belt before mining, to collect the ore automatically without melting.
Processing
Ice is extremely sensitive to temperature and will sublimate to gas even with minimal exposure to heat - such as being held in hand. Melting in a furnace will release O2 and N2.
It is composed of the following gases:
22.5 mol (90%) | Oxygen |
2.5 mol (10%) | Nitrogen |
