Description
A Kit (Composite Window Shutter) is used to build an advanced type of windows, that come with a built-in shutters, able to be closed either manually, via a shared touchpad switch, or by the use of logic. The Kit allows three different variants of the panel to be chosen for placement:
- Composite Window Shutter is the basic composite window with a manual shutter handle, which becomes accessible once the segment is fully assembled. Requires 1x Cable Coil, 1x Plastic Sheets, and 1x Glass Sheet to complete.
- Composite Window Shutter Connector is an inert wall section which, while not having a window panel itself, is used to connect separate Window Shutter clusters into a unified group when placed adjacent to them. Requires 4x Cable Coils, and 2x Plastic Sheets to complete. Cables has to be routed by using a Screwdriver.
- Composite Window Shutter Controller is a wall section with a shutter control terminal installed in its center. By connecting this module to multiple and/or separate window shutter groups by adjacency, and through the shutter connectors panels, a player can open and close all such shutters simultaneously. A Composite Shutter Controller has two cable connections for Power and logic network, analogous to Portals, which will supply power to all interconnected Connector and Shutter sections, and allow controlling them by attached logic signals. The control terminal comes with a touchpad state controller, power switch, and a passive LCD screen listing the connected sections. Powered Shutter Controller has a power drain of 50 W. Requires 1x Cable Coil and 1x Plastic Sheets to complete.
Characteristics
- All Composite Window Shutter segments can be placed both vetically and horizontally, rotated like other wall and window panels, and are airtight.
- Composite Window Shutters and Connectors has a Pressure Differential tolerance of 200 KPa, while the Controller panel has it at 300 KPa.
- Composite Window Shutters the same resistance to Damage as other Composite Walls.
- Composite Window Shutters are thinner than Composite Roll Cover and will not entirely cover the Logic elements or Pipes placed into them when closed.
Deconstruction
- Installed Plastic Sheets and/or Glass Sheets can be detached by using a Crowbar.
- Installed Cables can be detached by using Wire Cutters.
- Standing Kit frame can be recovered by using an Angle Grinder.
