HEM Droid

The H.E.M Droid is a DLC alternative playable species. They are these robots that are designed to survive out in the Hazards of Space as such do not require a suit to survive or air to breath.
Features
Consume power via batteries rather than Breathing or Eating. The battery slot replaces your Uniform Slot (Pocket slot #5) and where you are able to equip any battery cell to remain powered, You start with a fully charged large battery inserted by default. Not having a Battery in your slot or having a empty Battery in the slot will cause you to begin to lose Consciousness until you pass out.
HEM Droids are Very susceptible to cold temperature damage as the power in your battery keeping you alive drains faster in the cold but not the Heat making them a good species in places like Vulcan or Venus. While you may not require a space suit, Its ideal to wear a Space Suit in colder environments since a HEM Droids personal battery is susceptible to the Cold. And a Headlamp if you don't have a suit as while HEM droids do have Nightvision by default which can be Activated/Deactivated with the click of the N Key (That being the default binding). Nightvision can be rather hard on the eyes and make it hard to distinguish the color of ore for example as compared to a headlamp or suit helmet flashlight which can be easier on the eyes.
While they may be resilient to temperature extreme's tools and suits used, and worn by them can still melt.
Starting Equipment
They start out with a Basic/Hardsuit Jetpack but no suit or anything that comes with it, And you dont have a Uniform or anything that would normally come with one. This is because you can't wear a uniform, and you don't need a Suit to survive in the vacuum of space or in extreme climates but Cold will still drain your personal battery more quickly. This also means you do not have a Credit Card Slot for trading as that is suppose to come with the uniform. And as mentioned earlier they are able to use Nightvision without the use of Night Vision Goggles with the power coming from your personal battery.
Many people cite this as essentially easy mode because you do not need Food, Water or a good atmosphere to survive. The only thing you need to keep yourself alive is power. But the simplifying of the needs to survive with the HEM Droid can make it easier for a beginner to get a better grasp at the game without being overwhelmed with survival mechanics.
