Description
A shower is used to clean a stationeer and improve their hygiene. Clean water is required for the shower and polluted water is produced. The polluted water can then be filtered using a water purifier to make clean water again. Showering improves the character's hygiene faster, and to a greater level than being out of their space suit.
Showering
The Shower requires an input pipe with at least 5 mols of liquid water and zero polluted water. When the valve is turned the shower will spray and move water to its output pipe. To restore hygiene the character must be standing in the same grid as the shower and have nothing in their uniform and suit slots, though all other slots can be occupied. Polluted water is output when cleaning the player, otherwise only pure water is output. Polluted water will continue to be output even after hygiene is restored, so long as an unclothed stationeer is in the shower.
Notes
- Water cannot escape the shower into the surounding grids despite appearing to do so when running.
- There is no difference in operation for the powered version aside from requiring power and being switched on.
