Description[edit]
Exchanges heat between two pipe networks. It's next upgrade is the Large Direct Heat Exchanger.
Usage[edit]
The kit produces 3 versions, gas to gas, liquid to gas and liquid to liquid. Each version has 2 pipe connections for pipe atmospheres whose contents' heat will be exchanged. The heat exchanger itself does not have an internal volume and instead acts directly on the input pipe networks. A meter on the side displays the heat exchange rate in joules (per tick?).
Notes[edit]
In older versions, heat exchangers had 2 inputs and 2 outputs intended for active liquid flow. This feature has been consolidated in the form of the counterflow heat exchanger.
