A rover can be constructer again in survival games by placing a kit (Rover Frame), and then constructing it in multiple stages similar to the Autolathe, Electronics printer etc.
Exterior Features
- Batteries: Three Battery Cell slots are located on the right side of the vehicle for power.
- Storage Slots (4 Total - Lateral Placement): The chassis features four storage attachment points, two on the left side and two on the right side. These slots can be used to mount Portable Tanks, and some slots may also accept Crates
- Lights: Functional front headlights for low-light conditions.
- Atmospherics/Filtering: Unlike previous iterations, this model does not feature visible Canister or Filter slots on the exterior chassis.
Interior
- A power button at the left end of the upper panel.
- Interior and exterior light buttons at the right end of the lower panel.
== Known Issues (Bugs) == ⚠️
The following issues are known to exist with the re-introduced Rover Mk I, likely due to ongoing physics adjustments for the new Voxel Terrain System:
- Crate Attachment Bug (Floating Cargo): Crates attached to the rear storage slots do not correctly synchronize with the Rover's movement. When driven, the crates appear to float or fly in place and only move very slowly, resulting in cargo loss or clutter.
* Note: Portable Tanks appear to attach and move correctly.
- Low Friction (Skating): The driving experience is highly affected by low friction. The Rover tends to skate or drift excessively across the surface, making precise steering and braking difficult.
